My favorite of 2024's #Nebula nominees was @slhuang.com's THE WATER OUTLAWS. It was so good it made me want to read the original - which in this case is a Chinese epic from the Ming dynasty. A fantastic gender-bent retelling about love, community, and giving tyrants what they deserve. (7/13)

I don't think I'm allowed to elaborate on stuff not in the episode (yet). But I learned how to play to write it & watched coverage/analysis of a bunch of famous matches, SO INTERESTING! The animators were clearly just as dedicated to being faithful, I was so impressed 😊
