Goodbye Portland, you were truly wonderful! I walked your woods, watched your birds, loved your food, experienced your zoo, shopped your shops, dug through the bins at Scrap, bought at Powell's Books, visited your comic shops, & even survived the Peculiarium! You & your people have been a delight!

I've walked through many forests but none as beautiful as these! Exploring the trails of the Pacific Northwest west in Oregon's forest park.

In a world that's shrinking away from physical media, it's nice to see an indie film receive this nice of a release. 10+ hours of special features & a booklet of beaver parody posters. And if you still haven't watched "Hundreds of Beavers", I strongly urge you to seek it out and give it a shot.

💜 Happy Caturday 💛

My latest completed miniature paint jobs, Warpath, Spiral, and Sunfire from Marvel United: X-Men.

Nature valentines. Thanks to my Patrons for keeping me drawing www.patreon.com/birdandmoon

Today I discovered this Golden-Crowned Kinglet erratically darting around some flooded underbrush. I rapidly snapped around 75 shots & these are the only two photos I felt were worth keeping 😄 every other shot was either not in focus, missing the bird, or obscured by sticks and twigs.

Watched videos of octopi squeezing through tiny crevasses earlier and I’m somehow even angrier than usual at all these bones in me.

Botany valentine. Another from years past. New one on Monday!

Internet Friends familiar with Portland, Oregon, Sarah and I will be visiting for our first time on vacation. I'm looking for recommendations for things to do and see, the weirder, the better! Thanks ☺

Solicits are out, so here's a look at my 'April Fool's' variant cover for BATMAN #159. Written by JEPH LOEB(!) Interior art and main cover by JIM LEE(!!) and SCOTT WILLIAMS(!!!)

Here are a couple line #art that I drew up when I started my Endangered Species project! Feel free to print it out & color it.😊 The plan is to make a postcard pack with the watercolor art & a coloring book with the line art, w/half of the proceeds going to support the protection of these animals.❤️

"Hundreds of Beavers" is a beautifully surreal, wonderfully absurd, slapstick comedy that feels like a blend of Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Looney Tunes, and Adult Swim. I watched it last night & I can't stop thinking about it, easily a new all-time favorite film! youtu.be/oMeAxhD1ZQA?...

An American Goldfinch poses for my camera inside Hays Kennedy Park (KY). These are my favorite photographs, which I captured after a long day of winter birding today.

Furiosa fell asleep in my lap last night, Sarah was rightfully jealous.

Along with today's "all-you-can-eat bird seed buffet", my backyard birds also received free winter portraits courtesy of my 600mm lens. (1/6)

A squirrel mug full of hot cocoa, a toasty fire in the fireplace, bird feeders fully stocked, a couple of cats, and a winter wildlife viewing window. I am 100% ready for this snow day! ❄️🌨️☃️

My latest three miniature paints: Namor, Havok, & Snowbird from Marvel United: X-Men.

Happy new year 🎊

I spent $1.99 at Goodwill for this goose painting, used my miniature paints to add a knife, and my circuit cutter for the lettering AND "presto". . . The best holiday gift ever!

I'm watching classic Looney Tunes with Furiosa and she's absolutely fascinated. Her favorite cartoons are the ones featuring cats that look like her.

Before any of our groceries can be put away, they must first pass inspection. Thank you, Max, for being the finest feline inspector around.
