Don't think Arsenal are good under pressure

Results on Wednesday will be massive so hold off until then

Diaz has more chance I agree but Slot inherited Klopp's squad.
Next year it'll all be about buying players to fit in with Slotball.
Unlucky for Mane, Salah and Firmino they deserved more titles but if Liverpool Mk 3.0 hits the ground running next year then Slot is a bona fide genius.

26 this year. I'm done with him. Not happening I'm afraid.
After Newcastle game he's got 10 games to redeem himself.
But think it'll be a case of thanks but no thanks.
Luiz Diaz too.

Kenny getting rejected as a kid by Liverpool, West Ham etc built his character like Salah.

Fucked me off too!
Thought that was the moment we were tactically sussed out in the second half. One of the worst halves ever witnessed. But thankfully it was tired legs after international break and Forest were fresher.
But feel it was a big turning point for Slot and he stepped up.

My view is that the Everton game was forced to keep the race alive.
Now the more Arsenal slip up it'll be easier on us.
Only explanation for the massive headache last season was particularly up to Klopp's resignation.

Also I'm convinced that if Salah signed for us instead of Chelsea in the first place he wouldn't be the player he is today.

Easily said than done in hindsight.
Like we should have bought Isak instead of Darwin Nunez.
Shankly let a 16 yr old Dalglish on trial slip through his fingers after a communication mix up.

A boyhood Liverpool fan but he didn't play for us unfortunately

Wolves are the best team in the league in not getting results.
I wouldn't read too much into it.
They'll narrowly escape relegation.

After City match next Sunday we have 7 homes 4 aways!

Exactly. We played high intensity 1st half and it showed in the 2nd.
Wolves always look good without producing results.

He's better as an impact substitute.
Jota played for Wolves before.
Right decision.

Everton playing well. I'm more concerned about referees stopping our natural flow.

Might be the biggest mistake they've made.
Could have gone complacent going 9pts ahead.
Now with an 'us and them' mentality the players will be up for it now.
Anfield will become a cauldron.
I really hope it reinvigorates our season.

Lose on pens 😂
Should have said 1 PL game in March.

Gives us an advantage in the title race if we treat the Wednesday games as if they were CL matches.
We play City after they play away to Bernabeu.
LFC only play 1 match in March.
comment in response to
post
All we have to do is approach each Wednesday game as if they were CL matches. It is that big.
Man City have a hard away to Bernabeu before they play us.
Have to fight hopefully for a draw , ET & lose on penalties.
One game at a time. Massive month.

The back up plan is still there.
Just needed leadership. Losing Gomez yesterday hardly helped.
Long term it strengthens Slot's hand if he has evidence of the squad's understrength like Klopp did.
comment in response to

VVD too with the lack of leadership a major reason for our defeat yesterday
comment in response to
post
If the B team didn't step up they get less games.
At the end of this month after playing 3 aways and 2 homes we'll get a weekend off to prepare for CL
Instead of the fa cup rounds being markers for our performance I think after the 2nd April home vs Everton we'll know how our season is turning out
comment in response to

Klopp used to do that to make a point to FSG. If we sign Salah, VVD on long term contracts on the back of this defeat I'm all for it.
Starting Wednesday have 15 days to play 5 PL teams to get 15 points
That should be priority and if yesterday's game helps with team selection I'm all for it too

Weird how you don't see these people when we win.
Do they have a fetish or what?
comment in response to

I'd reserve judgement until the end of season.
Going for the "quad" hampered our league challenge in 21/22 and last year in different circumstances.
Slot's player management will stop players getting injured or even selected based on yesterday.
comment in response to

Last season was a freak season in so many ways that it actually disguised that we were in transition.
Klopp had enough self awareness to know that the squad he left needed a different approach.
He left us in far better shape than he found us.
Top top man.
