A bit of snark, cyberpunk flavoured with a seasoning of rogue. Small acts of resistance by many can disrupt the perfect illusion created by an autocrat.

Let's say the person's name was Muhammed and he was a leader of Oman or Jordan for example and was at war with a portion of his own people, launched attacks at other nations in the region what would he be viewed as? A Middle East madman. How is Netanyahu any different?

One of the first things a Democratic President should do is disband ICE, place the heads of that agency under investigation for their tactics and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law

The current administration makes people such as Bush and Cheney sound like elder statesmen. Trump and his minions are the stuff of despots. As for the image above with the terror warning levels it always reminds me of this...

How long will it be before it's called for what it is, A Middle East war or are we going to keep playing the word games of "Skirmish", "Disturbance", "Action" .... etc. We have leaders who have no interest in conflict resolution as their only path to diplomacy is "You lose and enjoy the peace"

As stated in one of Howard Zinn's books in modern warfare the percentage of civilian casualties has risen to somewhere around 70-90%. Bombs are larger and more lethal than the ww2 days. It's true, the IDF is within range of civilians.

As it has grown apparent, this administration is becoming more and more aggressive towards opposing views and opposition. To Trumpians, If you treat the opposition preemptively as violent criminals... be careful of what you wish for

It's pretty obvious that this administration's end goal here is to make America complicit on the idea of erasing Palestinians from existence living or historically.

The only leader should be is an idea not a person or group as the actions taken will be on the basis of that idea.

It's a thought to see the Trump administration trying to pick a fight with Harvard and we can use the fight as motivation to study some of the courses mentioned here since this administration seems to hate education.

First phase is the rationalization and reasoning period... "Well... I don't really have a problem with them but if they don't convert in all honesty I can see why they were taken over there.... after all it is for their safety...." The 2nd phase is .... We don't talk about it

I have been saying for awhile now that I think Elon Musk is going to be the modern day version of Bernie Madoff a man who scammed people out of billions whose fate will be a long prison sentence awaiting him.

He didn't need to, he just needed an agent to do his bidding... He found his agent

But just about anyone can get a gun there....

Probably should include quite a few other names in this administration that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for their flagrant violations of the Constitution and negligence.

Now think about this, all these seemingly wealthy people deciding this fate just like their lax gun laws policy put most of us in the front lines while they get to hide behind a massive wall of security and doctors on standby if they have a health crisis.

Blue dog democrat approach doesn't work. It's an old 90s playbook that needs to be discarded. All it has done is allow the right wing to shift the goalposts further to the right to the point that European centre right wing now seems more like "moderate Democrat" in the US.

When Trump supporters joked about him being elected the next Pope my thought was he has a better chance of becoming Grand Wizard.... He is a Klansman.

The Branch Trumpians got upset... this will be remembered as "The great seashell sacrilege" 🙄

When there is a gun massacre they want to talk about "mental health". Then they propose bills to cut Medicaid.

I find it mildly amusing when these people make references to "radical left..." when these same people congratulated and associated with AfD during the German elections. Kind of tells you something...

What do you expect? It's FoxNews where the viewers likely feel like Trump is on par with Abraham Lincoln. Orwell is here now.

She is probably opting for some post Trump will create for her something like Secretary of Sanity or something in that Orwellian flavour.

This is akin to an abusive relationship. The victim is too afraid to offend the abuser so they try to play peacemaker. I would surmise any counselor would tell you this position is simply enabling them. It's time to throw out the 90's blue dog Democrat playbook. All it did was create this mess.

ICE = modern day version of the Gestapo

Stephen Miller comes across as a guy who likely plays the game Risk while letting mice run across the board while he tries to smash them with a hammer. Actually he probably doesn't play Risk at all, he just likes smashing mice with hammers. 🙄

Day after day ICE reminds me more and more of another type of enforcement group used in history... the Gestapo

In major cities there are people on street corners who say Jesus talked to them in person last night... We just keep walking by... no need to find out the details here.

They're predictable, next they will say "well he isn't a real American pope because he spent a good portion of his life in Peru and that is why he is a Marxist."

I would say if Trump were to ever try any maneuver in trying to make Canada a 51st state then I say blue states should start talking about seceding from the union.
