To calm down after the horrors of Silent Hill 2, I’m sticking with seconds and playing Res Evil 2.

I think I’m vibing with Silent Hill 2 because it just takes a simple set-up and keeps building and building on the atmosphere without throwing too much else into the mix. A lot of my faves - Hollow Knight, Portal 2 - follow this formula. They don’t complicate.

This is a bit of a hidden gem imo

Darkest Dungeon remains one of my all time favourite video games, and it's impossible to think about it without thinking of its powerful and haunting narration by the inimitable Wayne Jones. So, it's with sadness I read today of his death. Here's the lovely tribute from Red Hook.
