It cost close to 1T to get everyone $1200 during COVID. They going to send everyone 150 bucks IF THAT.

Excellent reporting! I too compared the careers of the two Officers and found that under Hegseth's maxim of warfighting "first" both men had approx same experience or combat flight hours. Brown's career outclassed Caine's by every other metric. His retirement and civ jobs, no accident total setup.

Depends on the context around what they are asked to do and under what authority, like the Insurrection Act for example. Looking at the cabinet and top appointments doesn't look good. The FBI and DOJ should worry people a lot more.

Straight from the fascist playbook, really has it down. Immigrants have to come off the blame list since that's "fixed" now. This time it's the transgender's or .0001% of the population that's causing your woes. He's a sick f**k really.

Around 200 hundred Rangers for ~11 years if my estimates are correct.

history proves otherwise I'm afraid. "Normies" and "good guys" will still put you into a mass grave even if they dont pull the trigger.

Same democrats in no danger of losing corporate funding that also funds republicans? Same democrats in no danger of losing power due to gerrymandering and party hegemony? The purpose of all these types articles to make us think this is bug rather then a feature. THEY DONT WORK FOR US.

After the purges what kind of people will be joining the FBI do you think? Hardcore fascists is who.

I disagree, there will be a constant focus on insider threats and disloyalty. In two years there will not be anyone there that disagrees with leadership and imposing their will by any means necessary. In fact, it will give rise to Agents far more fanatical than Patel.

This is the birth of the new Gestapo, they will be highly focused on political opposition.

Hundreds of STEM, healthcare, and science professionals from the USA are looking for leadership and an economy that appreciates them and practices core democratic values. Suggest now a good time for a marketing blitz of Canadian programs and visas in US media. Offense is the best defense.

spent time stackin quals and Brown comes out on top easily, Caine not unqualified but not had the career Brown has. In terms of actual warfighting which is what nasty guard, non tabbed, leg, no company command Hegseth claims matters, they are similar. In every other way, Brown. Caine is DEI.

Great ad, you don't want to end up like us. Germany has the right idea, shut them down even if it violates their freedoms. That's how harmful they are.

Elon is working on those pesky community notes he's said. Soon there wont be any truths other than what the popular people claim.

Not just Vietnam, we are pretty much 0-4 (mil operations at scale over time) since WW2. With proven near ZERO capability to combat insurgencies and asymmetric threats when at scale. Vance was a journalist in the USMC, sit the hell down you don't even war bro.

If they can find a black man that openly disavows DEI, LGBTQ+,democrats, professes loyalty to Trump, and has some of the requisite background they would def consider using him. Value of that as a foil outweighs their prejudices.

I there are any names "missing" there are plenty of people from DOJ that will be letting everyone know. Not Merrick Gerland of course, he'll be hiding under his bed as usual.

I just put something about Alex Karps recent book interview on my profile. Basically if you listen to him you get sense tech bros all think we are communit morons that suck at life and need to be led to salvation. Wreck this world to build a better one.

Very little cuts to DoD are coming. Some like diversity and programs for wihich no real corporate power is involved, some those will be steamrolled to Trump lackeys like Palantir and similar. The source of all American power is there, it's Trumps big Ace and he's not going to risk that.

It's literally a comic book supervillian storyline. Can't wait for the inevitble cruelty to animals stories that you just know are coming/happening.

hate to say but this is basically what it will take to get rid of them. They take all this on with momentum now but what about once the burden and costs of service have to be met? In four years the mess will be too big to lie about.

I was thinking of starting a crime business this year. If you want something from down here let me know. Market research for bootlegging as I have no idea what your people might want. Steel, copper, corn?

purge of people mostly hired during Biden, "I'm cutting costs" propaganda. Removal of watchdogs for corruption. Privitization across much of the cut services, playing out now in the FAA (SpaceX). Cover for a big fat budget coming in March, for friends of Trump Incoporated.

If it came down to my obit reading, "killed by a gunshot from a murse" or just about any other cause of death imaginable I'm probably going for the latter. Don't need to have my family that embarrassed for me.

PSA folks! Don't write a letter like this with fake niceties and formality that makes the it one, long winded and hard to read, and conceals the intention and narrative behnd word salad. Be polite but be direct, realize no one is reading a letter this long it's a wet noodle, a dud, and annoying.

In Trumps recent energy dominance presser when the conversation about the ruthless efficiency that each cabinet memeber would follow to wring every bit of energy from the United States the only thing Zeldin didn't mention was, protecting the environment. Enjoy your air and water, your kids won't.

once the brain drain starts it's over for generations here. If Canada opened a citizenship program for STEM or critical industries I bet they would have a lot of takers.

you would have to be crazy to take any Federal Job that entails more effort then working from your home every day for a maximum of 40hrs a week. Even then should only be done in retirement years where you don't need the money.

Trump is best thing that ever happened to Putin. Look at their society where Putin rules by force and the Russian media and politicians fawn over his every move and persona. Now look at how Trump fashions his own image via sychophants and people he corners, any questions?
