the most competent assessment comes from @rachelcoldicutt.bsky.social but not sure she'd say she's "privacy folk" – assuming the silos are as they were in 2004 is the folly of the TBI.

I'm not sure there is a privacy organisation that is currently materially relevant to that conversation. But that can change as the tech hits the real world and face plants as it always has before (and the HO "ISIS detecting" AI did which is the policy precedent that failed)
