Profoundly disappointed in the England cricket team for not boycotting today's match against Afghanistan. There's some utterly vile things going on in global politics right now but I'm still astonished at how the world is just shrugging and looking away when it comes to Afghan women

Proud to have worked on this project with @thisinstitute.cam.ac.uk A fascinating listen for anyone in healthcare, from research to delivering care ⏬

Off to record the final interview for series two of Communication Untangled today, which will launch next month, woohoo! Here's series one, if you'd like to give it a listen sookio.com/podcast

Hugely satisfying to go for the follow-up visit to a client with whom I'd run a communications framework workshop... To find they'd built a whole war room around it; floor to ceiling grids and plans and timelines and strategic objectives and who's doing what. Love! ♥️

You can't move at the moment for software pushing you to rewrite posts in AI or produce AI summaries... Meanwhile, I'm getting Monday.com set up with a client and we want to set the default currency to GBP, not USD. I've been through 4 different people in support and none of them can do it?!

Today's HQ. Most pleasant #Fora

Accidentally worked all weekend getting a lot of background business stuff in place because I have a strong sense that things are about to get very very busy...

The copywriter for this dog food brand and I have a difference of opinion as to how and where the magic might happen

Really constructive workshop today helping a very lovely team of non-marketers build their communications framework. A new thing I've started doing which is as much about enabling and facilitating as showing and teaching

Capitalization affects how people read hashtags or how people hear them on screen readers. Use #camelCase or #PascalCase in hashtags instead of lowercase. You could have #SuperBowl ("Super Bowl") or #superbowl ("superb owl.") And while owls are indeed superb, confusing hashtags are not.

Currently read-listening to Butter by Asako Yuzuki, and loving Hanako Footman's narration... beautiful English accent but she's half Japanese, so the way she pronounces the different foods (recurring topic) is just... delicious. Definite bonus of it being an audiobook

Met up with old school friends I haven't seen for years and we were talking about the stellar education we received...

While I'm talking learning today, pretty pleased to have completed this course in Behaviour Change Interventions with @ucl.ac.uk and FutureLearn 👩🏻‍🎓

I don't know why I'm documenting my piano "journey" on here but anyway... looks like I AM going to have to do my Grade V theory again because I did it before records began 🤦🏻‍♀️

Happy Saturday to everyone except the guy who nipped ahead of me and stole the car parking space I was obviously about to turn into

Interesting AI tech debate with Cambridge Wireless the other evening. My feeling currently is everyone has a completely different interpretation of what AI actually IS, so every conversation is not what you think it is. Here's a failed attempt at an arty shot during networking afterwards

Right, let's get this straight. The only people who should use foster in their copy are those who care for children. The only people who talk solutions should be chemists. And you can only deliver if you're a midwife or postman. Thank you. I will not be taking any further questions

Excellent London day working, plotting, networking, with pleasing symmetry on the way home!

My monthly working day in RSA House. Lovely to have the opportunity to work and think in such elegant surroundings

Bright and beautiful (and very brrrrrrrr) in Oxford today

Looking forward to being a judge at the National Business Women's Awards again, it'll be my 5th year! It all opens mid-Feb, with the ceremony in October. So get crafting those submissions #NBWA
