On the whole FAFO debate: I take no joy in Trump voters suffering. And I do welcome those who genuinely realize they made a mistake. However, I do hope those people learn to take their political choices more seriously, and not treat the whole thing like cheering for WWE wrestlers.

Sadly, the chief legacy of his long political career will be that he failed to lead the Senate to convict Trump in the second impeachment, after 1/6. I have no partisan animus toward him. I’m no party partisan. It’s just the reality that this is his legacy. He failed in the biggest moment.
