Bless you. It really would. I'm about to fall asleep (I realize it's not even 8pm here) but what are your next few days like? And this is a serious question: does your new job allow any time for a short last minute NCL cruise if we could find a good fare?

I had a lovely friend in junior high with this surname and I'm both: * glad that nobody at school thought to call her Anal Zone because she was my friend and nobody deserves that * a bit disappointed in all of us for not spotting it

Pfft. Instead of watching TV, I sit on the sofa and stare at a head of garlic. I ground my old TV up into powder that I use to season braised lamb roast.

How rough of a listen is it for those of us who have been psychologically abused, bullied, lied about and to, etc. by folks we thought were our faith community? Just trying to ration my distress so it's manageable.

One thing I appreciate about this app is that it feels like one of the few places in our society where people earnestly talk about the sense of brokenness and heartbreak and exhaustion of the last few years (and beyond)—even if it's not the center of conversations, it often seems like subtext (?).
