Great list! Others mentioned Laid Back Camp already, which is lovely, but I also highly recommend Super Cub for similarly gentle and kind vibes; it's about a lonely schoolgirl who buys a rundown motorbike and finds freedom and friends.

Right?? Like, we're walking in a beautifully-made raised woodland trail above wolves, lynxes and bears, and I'm like, "Rob! That pigeon!!"

To wrap this thread up, the last demo I liked this Next Fest was Ball x Pit. I knew it was popular among roguelike fans, but I didn't really get why so I put off trying it. 5 mins in and I knew I was in trouble, lol. I'm playing it again today! store.steampowered.com/app/2062430/...

At this point, my old copy of Mario Paint is better than Photoshop; and it even came with its own music software!

I'm picky about metroidvanias but MIO: Memories in Orbit's demo has me intrigued. The "close-up" camera gives a sense of depth and scale between you and the environment you're exploring, and the mechanics were smooth and intuitive. store.steampowered.com/app/1672810/...

I had to try the demo for Town To City because I'm a sucker for Voxel landscapes with nice lighting and depth of field; this did that *and* it delivered exactly what I want from a relaxed city builder. I'm looking forward to this one coming out! store.steampowered.com/app/3115220/...

Wowww! The diamondback as a winged mount is such a cool idea! And the cows in the foreground 🤩
