In the wake of a health crisis earlier this year (I had an infection go septic.. & uhh.. could've died if I'd waited for treatment) I got a temporary ADA parking pass. I'm amazed at how much it's improved my QOL. I'm more likely to go out now that I know I won't use all my spoons to park and walk.

Been doing some processing and mental growth and acceptance lately, esp. that comes with getting older. While I still prefer my tomboy/butch labels, I've come to grips & acceptance with use of she/them that I'm definitely non-binary.

This needs saying. Within living memory it was literally illegal to be trans in public. Within living memory queer communities faced a horrific genocide. Within my lifetime anti-queer violence was far, far more widespread. People fought anyway. Do not assume all is lost. We do not have the luxury.

I'm originally from a state that used to get a lot of thunderstorms and tornadoes, and I always wanted to be a storm chaser. Now that I have the ability, gear, and rig that I could conceivably do it, I live in a place that seldom sees storms or severe weather like that. Le sigh.
