Are any of my Bluesky knitting pals doing the Lyrical Knits MKAL that starts today? This is my yarn. I cannot wait to get off work today. I have been looking forward to this for weeks. 😁 I will knit my way through our current hellscape.

When I start getting in a really ugly mood (looking around at the dumpster fire that is our current reality), knitting calms me. When I start feeling myself losing it, I usually find that I haven’t knit anything in a couple days. I don’t even have to finish it. Just the act of making helps me.

I’ve been annoyed with myself all day. When I put my knitting away last night, I left my project bag on my chair in the living room. Usually, it is on the kitchen table in front of the chair I hang my purse on, so I remember it. I’m going to be waiting on my kids and I have no knitting. 😢
