From my personal experience juuni, once it clicks you really feel incredible. Depends on the version you play, the game gives you more than enough to work with regardless of playstyle.

I think Uematsu worked on some music in the game too, so it's just extra incentives at this point.

Oh they'll still be pretty scary, the easier modes just makes your life easier so you won't have to lose progress as much. The older horror games were very good at nailing the atmosphere, sound effects and all. It'll find a way to get under your skin, I'm quite sure

Just play on the easiest mode, so you can least enjoy the story where the real meat of the game is imo. Never steered me wrong since i first played OG SH2.
