I've got one better than that. I emailed my elected representative in Dec for help & got no response. I emailed them again this month & mentioned the lack of response. My rep responded to the email telling me he wasn't getting his emails so the state had to give him a brand new laptop.

Then there's the obvious matter of slapping Trump's face on Woodford Reserve in an explicitly political marketing gimmick. Seems bush league... but then again, B-F has done some bizarre things with famous faces to promote its brands in the recent past. For example:

The subsidy being discussed on Wednesday will be a request by Pickaway County for $86 million from the All Ohio Future Fund for infrastructure to serve the weapons plant.

A bit more on the flaw, it truly came from 'move fast and break things' mentality:
"X did not require any proof of authorization and had its applications directly interconnected with the national clearinghouse that processes such transfers, so there was no oversight on individual transfer requests"
