Yes! It’s a lovely pattern and color palate. I have a red rose bowl but the rose pattern is subtly different.

Yeah, on board.

Cool! This one will have to be potted since our climate won’t sustain them. Its parent has been shuttled outside and in every summer/winter.

I have been fighting making a ‘Venus Envy’ post about this design for about 36 hours now.

Go rest and nest and recover. All good…you have your hands full.

A vase by C., inspired by this rose bush…

This is a climber rose I didn’t train, so it’s tall and wide and anchors our driveway by the street so everyone can enjoy. I treat her with benign neglect & she thrives. Now over 6’ tall.

Yes! I agree entirely!

I wish one hadn’t gotten all scratched up!

I know, right?!?

Oh, I’m soooo sorry. She is so lucky to have someone like you as a life companion to look after her and make hard decisions unselfishly. You’ll both be in my thoughts.

I’ve played this game before. Did all the testing…turns out for me it often is black mold…it’s worse when it rains, & black mold grows on nearly every plant out in the wild as well.

Described going in as about the worst/gross/horrific thing possible to drain it. Also it had started to effect my lungs & my GP was at a loss as to if the sinuses caused the lung issue, or vice versa. Though I’ll have the lung stuff for life now.

After years of rotating through antibiotics and an allergist who basically laughed at me (though I still have pretty good allergies) I finally told my doctor to look at my chart/count antibiotic rounds. He sent me to a specialist who decided my upper sinuses had been infected/closed for YEARS.

This batch of mugwort I recently got is sooo mild. Might as well be spinach. No pain at all.

My flonase tip…ask your doctor for a prescription if you have insurance. I pay 4$ for it monthly instead of ~20$ by doing that.

I get this from time to time too, though less once I had sinus surgery where they basically gutted the inside of my skull and rebuilt it.

Worst beach towel ever.

Speaking of which…that time of night…

You’ve seen mine are both green. That was intentionally to ‘minimize them in our yard. Both for us but also because it’s possible to see them from the street and I always figure the less attention the better (didn’t want neighbors to have opinions)

Your hive bodies are such a lovely bunch of colors.

Here in New York it’s more than ‘on the invasive side’ it’s on the list. Though I don’t seem to find it around here and I’m about to pot up some for my own use.

Yes, this will be a waiting game!!!

Cut and gently dry a bunch, destem and bag it up…

So cool!!!

Maybe but finding the right folio Edition, etc may be a nightmare. I may look out for a few in a larger version (aka ‘Double Elephant’) and do something even more glorious with them!

Agree! I love it but not everyone does, alas. And I’ll sacrifice to keep my pink dining room.

The thing is that we both put in what our house requires to operate. We also do pay out of pocket for other ‘house’ things as needed, but the real thing is, if you have money you can buy stuff for yourself without guilt.

*still mad that my sister lost two of this set… the Blue Jay and Cardinal prints that were once framed in her childhood bedroom.

We ride that line. We have a joint checking/savings but it is neither of our main accounts. We both have our own separate individual ones. We put enough $$ in our joint accounts to cover bills & taxes & some extra. Anything else belongs to the individual & they have full control of it.

I mean, tacos are good too.

But in this case both of mine were empty, & this is a quicker ramp up to full hive so they’ll be strong for next winter and also potentially produce for the fall. Because my colonies failed early winter the hives have plenty of resources (honey, pollen & drawn-comb all ready for them.

Sometimes people will ‘split’ (the process of splitting a hive to get two) & gift, but it’s a fair amount of work. And if there are swarms around you can definitely hive those. If I lose one colony or a queen dies, I usually can prompt them to make a new queen or use frames from the other hive...

Also, I’m super leery of any kind of preparation for something you’ll put in your body for any process that people use isopropyl or other solvents that are not necessarily human friendly.
