Girl I dont disagree with you that citizens have obligations, but that doesn't mean that your country isn't out to make it hard for people to vote, they are. Especially in certain states and obviously with the purposes of alienating certain types of voters, historically they always have.

It's also that y'all make it hard for people to vote. Registering to vote is wild to me, we just vote because we are citizens and we're automatically registered when we turn 18. Not to mention the many states that are too heavily suppressed and purposefully dont want people to be able to vote easily
