You aren't sPERMAmuted?
comment in response to post
(Seriously tho... This is the first in my long life I've heard the term despite, after looking it up, knowing plenty of folks with said "terminal degree." Is it more of a outside-the-US usage?)
comment in response to post
WhoTF calls it a terminal degree?
comment in response to post
He’s got 6 degrees from being a nut job.

I didn't realize they made a little blue pill for being very wrong on the internet.

Oh God he's still going?

The US Senate runs on a 2/3 Supermajority, not a 3/5 supermajority.

Aw, someone deleted their post.
comment in response to post
I made efforts earlier.

"squelched"?

Must be one of those typos he talks about.

He normally just yells at clouds.

“An incorrect tense on a two letter word” Curious.

Rage, rage against the perma of the mutes.

Welcome to the club. A word of warning…. He’s replied to me once since PERMAmuting me so it’s not necessarily a respite from his bon mots.
comment in response to post
That’s a deep cut right there, fellow old.
comment in response to post
Oh, did I do that to you?
comment in response to post
Weep and repent maybe?
comment in response to post
Pathetic that he even bothered to tell me I was muted. Better to just mute and let me wonder[1]. [1] I would not wonder
comment in response to post
It's all he's got.
comment in response to post
Little does he know he’s Double Secret Probamuted.
comment in response to post
Oh no, how will I go on.
comment in response to post
Is that your way of saying "Sorry, I was wrong"?
comment in response to post
"I never said they did. I said they can, have and will." If they _have_ done something, then they _did_ do it.

I just realized that maybe this means that ChatGPT was using ME.

Then I remembered the stories that she'd order lamb chops in restaurants just to play with servers and, you know what, she'd probably dig it (if the stories are true).

Whoa, Nelly.
comment in response to post
I have suspicions.
comment in response to post
I'm petty because you think I'm using ChatGPT and I'm showing you I'm not?
comment in response to post
... So that means I was using ChatGPT?

Try using an actual dictionary.

I mean, if the ghetto was big enough and crossed a border, I guess it could actually be an intercity ghetto.
comment in response to post
I was literally quoting dictionary definitions. Would you like the cites?
comment in response to post
No, I wouldn't use ChatGPT if you paid me.
comment in response to post
I think you may have meant inner city?
comment in response to post
But yeah, it's all predominantly not only. I'm definitely not arguing that =)

And Any area occupied predominantly by a particular social or ethnic group, esp. a densely populated urban area which is subject to social and economic pressures, tending to restrict its demographic profile; an enclave. Also in extended (and sometimes ironic) use.

Originally and chiefly in the United States: a socially and economically disadvantaged inner-city area predominantly populated by African American people. Also (often with the): such areas collectively; (hence) the collective experience, distinctive culture, etc., of people living in such areas...
comment in response to post
This is m-w's relevant def: an underprivileged district of a city or town in which members of a minority group live especially because of social, legal, or economic pressure OED is a bit more in depth.
comment in response to post
How about I just crack a dictionary? www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/i...
comment in response to post
I mean, technically, depending on the dictionary, it is partially defined by race in that it is a minority (but not ONLY that minority) that lives there. The OED even goes so far as to say, for the US, predominately African-American.

What's "intercity"?
