My kids are approaching the age that makes me a grandparent. I envy that you have that time, because I know I won't be able to help out like my parents did.

Your statement is capitalist propaganda in order to prevent class consciousness and instead keep us focused on racial tensions. Not all kinfolk are skinfolk. No war but the classwar.

Think of it like this. If you aren't comfortable with calling all of the stuff you leave behind "your estate", then we're not talking about you. Don't worry. We're on your side.

That's the lie. Most of the country is uneducated politically, and there is a not insignificant but unknowable percentage of people who have attached the wrong label to their beliefs and vote accordingly. Most people I run into are kind, helpful, considerate, and empathetic.

You are right that we need to be united. So get on board with something more progressive than just business as usual. It chaffes how, every single time, the expectation is for progressive ideas to take a back seat. I think it is time for them to drive. So get in, brother.

Right now we are witnessing the US government exploiting of "temporarily".

My friend, please think logically. "Believe women" is such a strawman. Life is way more complicated and right now we're experiencing what it is like when people in power make ideological and not practical governing decisions. So forgive me if I feel like the answer isn't more removal of freedoms.

How, without completely robbing people of autonomy. People will lie (to others and themselves). You cannot monitor for all things. Life has tragedy, and it isn't always avoidable.

That's not the burn you wish it was. He didn't bankrupt a casino. He successfully laundered large sums of illegal cash. The casino didn't fucking matter. The casino was always going to crash. Just like our stock market. Because that isn't what he cares about. He doesn't want hypothetical money.

You're mostly upset because she did. We all did. All of us. We begged you, with sincerity and empathy, and you looked us in our eyes and said no as you pushed the knife in.

He looks like that cause he knows. And he's scared. I see abject fear on his expression as she is telling him that we all see it for what it is.

I keep hearing that. What can they do? They can organize, damn it. Rally their people, tell us to our face what is happening and organize a resistance. Not everything we can do to fight back is limited to congressional votes.

If you aren't armed, get armed. No one is coming to save you. They have the military. Democrat elected officials will not, cannot, tell us to arm up. By the time that they are willing to do that, it will already be too late.

Start telling us to arm up. Start telling us to practice the 2nd amendment. Use your platform to tell us to prepare to fight.

40 year old dude here, long time gamer and big time nerd. BG3 is a masterpiece. Arcanum is my favorite setting (magic vs steampunk). Horizon's Gate has the most enjoyable party/build crafting I've ever played. Wartales is a pleasant balance of gritty and convienant merc management simulator.

Oh yeah, I remember what I wanted to do! Panic! The tech bros who collect and sell our data just got into government with the goal of dismantling protections. Imagine a world without HIPAA. Imagine a world where advertisers knew exactly what health issues a person was struggling with.

Republicans won. And in that victory, they have finally defeated my concerns for their sanctimonious acts. Hunter is what Donald projected himself as--a victim of politicized justice. There is no point in keeping good faith with the faithless. So congrats, small r republicans. You defeated decency.
