The Trump administration plans to limit sharing classified information with Congress after someone leaked an internal assessment that proved Trump was trying to sell a lie about the success of the bombing in Iran. www.axios.com/2025/06/25/i...

People in wheelchairs are getting arrested right now in the Russell Senate Office Building in DC. They showed up to tell Congress not to cut their Medicaid, because they cant afford health care without it. If you look closely you can see the zip ties on their hands. #WeWontGetOverLosingMedicaid

Saying the bombing didn't totally destroy Iran's nuclear program does not, in any way, demean the pilots who executed the mission. That's an evasion tactic. Trump wants us to believe that, because it really demeans his lies, not the pilots.

Even if the set-back is more than just a few months: (1) Trump was unable to separate what he wanted to be true from what was true, and (2) he's angrier at the media for revealing this to the public than at generals for misinforming him, because they didn't.

60 years ago, NORAD built a nuclear bomb-proof shelter for itself. The Iranians are no dummies. Quite possible that they did the same for themselves.

I'm starting to hear press reports that the Iran bombing may not have destroyed their nuclear development program as much as POTUS claimed. (2) Leavat says that's an insult to the military, but she's ducking the issue. They were perfect, but POTUS may have lied.

I'm starting to hear press reports that the Iran bombing may not have destroyed their nuclear development program as much as POTUS claimed. (1) Military performed brilliantly, but those bunker busters were never tested in war. Accurate damage assessments will tell us more. We'll wait and see.

U.S. Const. Art. I, §8. cl. 11

💯

They’re assaulting the mothers and fathers of US soldiers. Roving gangs of masked men grab human beings off the street. They send them without due process to prisons in countries they’re not even from where they are then sold into slavery. Make it stop!!!

Touché.

Nothing wrong with you. They intone that mantra so they can run away from facts and not have to deal with them or even think about them. It reassures them that if you criticize him or them, there's something wrong with YOU.

THIS IS THE PROCEDURAL DYNAMIC: Even with the GOP's slim majority, they control the committee and appoint the chairman. Frau Bondi this knows she can dance away from the questions, and the chairman will never direct her to answer the question that was asked.

Naturalized citizen friend will visit family in Europe, and fears not being let back in (with US born spouse & child). Will delete social media accounts as a precaution, and is looking for an immigration lawyer. THIS IS TRUMP'S AMERICA!

We are currently in a war being run by reality TV personality Commander-in-Chief and his TV talk show chatterbox Secretary of Defense. Have a nice day.

Systemic Failures?

The Russians, who have been murdering Ukrainian civilians and bombing cities for three years, are suddenly very worried about "gross violation of international law" and "global and regional security" www.themoscowtimes.com/2025/06/22/r...

Who didn't know this was coming, and that there's more to come, more indirect and nuanced, but just as deadly?

Bombing Iran is a great way to distract from how your administration is bombing elsewhere.

Exclusive: A new analysis from the Institute for Women's Policy Research estimates that the Dobbs decision overruling Roe v. Wade—issued 3 years ago tomorrow—is costing the nation more than $133 billion annually. First reported by me for @motherjones.com: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

IF true, that means they removed their uranium assets before the bombing!

Cyber attacks are a viable means of retaliation, particularly since he disbanded the cyber command (so Russia could spread fear and disinformation in the 2026 election)

No one is talking about the Big Blunderous Bill or combat troops in our streets.

We’ll never know what could have been, but we do know they chose to believe him and not her, and now they are making up excuses for their votes that put us all in harm’s way. Don’t think this is a one-off.

Remember how many of you voted for no more wars and lower gas prices? Don’t worry, we won’t let you forget.

There are at this moment American citizens in Iran and I pray they make it home.

As damage assessments gather more data, there should be high radioactivity readings at Fordo and other sites, indicating that highly refined uranium was destroyed there. If those readings are not mentioned, that means Iran moved its refined uranium before the bombing.

How many ounces of Kool-aid does it take to reach this level of uncritical thinking?

Am I the only one wondering: WHAT IF IRAN MOVED ITS REFINED URANIUM ASSETS OUT OF FORDO BEFORE THE STRIKE WAS LAUNCHED? I might have done that if I was them, so just maybe ... ...

Only Senate and House MAGATS got a heads-up.

When asked when the final decision was made, Hegseth, as is his wont, answered several questions, but not the one asked. This reinforces the conclusion that the decision was made while POTUS was saying he wanted peace through negotiation.

Operationally, the bombing was a great success. Diplomatically? Foreign relations? Lots of self congratulating this morning. does anyone remember this?

Is there any doubt that he'll use this as an excuse to flood our streets with his troops?

WHERE DO WE EVEN START? (1) He was either lying when he said "two weeks," or Netanyahu played on his ego. Either one terrible. (2) Whatever rifts there were among Iranians are now gone. They're united against the common enemy. (3) Terrorist sleeper cells will be his excuse to militarize our streets.

Sorry for repeating myself, but we wouldn't be in this situation if Trump hadn't ripped up Obama's Iran-Nuke treaty, which he ripped up only because Obama negotiated it.

We still have no idea who the ICE agents are. They could be insurrectionists, extremist militiamen or criminals themselves, chasing law-abiding citizens down the street for recording their kidnappings. The odds they aren't are low. Congress must raise hell about this. A masked gang runs our country.
