I don’t know if it has an audiobook but I would recommend the Dragon Jousters series by Mercedes Lackey. From how Fourth Wing has been described to me (having political themes, dragons, that sort of thing) Dragon Jousters has the same but without the romance and smut, focusing more on the dragons

I remember when my Dad had the streets memorised back when we lived in Belgium the garmin voice was switched to yeti and the car icon an x-wing. It. Was. Glorious. I miss the yeti.

This makes me think of the ‘always has been’ meme with astronauts but I’m unsure how it would fit in this context??? What has it always been? Was the frontier even real? Or was it all digital? Is the parking lot real? Is the gun?
