After a few days to read, digest, and discuss the House Ways and Means Committee draft, I've found that my earlier takes were simply wrong. While I have yet to be convinced that the phase-out or transferability are a doomsday, "foreign entity" restrictions are much worse than my initial take. /1

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Slate truck will be cheaper than other trucks at initial sticker price, but as soon as any conveniences are added at initial purchase, literally any other truck will overcome it in cost vs value

Today in SolarEdge troubleshooting: one inverter unit was not producing at all, even after re-pairing the optimizers multiple times. Ended up trying swapping strings between units, re-pairing AGAIN, and then everything suddenly started producing. 😑
