Luckily though, liberals were wise enough to get a large enough bipartisan coalition to get the Administrative Procedures Act passed and signed into law though so this crap these modern Republicans are trying to do or more of a distraction and delay than the death knell of our efforts.

I stated that the timeframes they're attempting to impose are arbitrary and most judges will agree so like so many of his executive orders it is more of a campaign announcement than a governmental policy change.

Manchin wanted to remove steps in legislation right? House bill that died made it harder to sue. It seems to me a grand bargain would have been cleaner. That's not what he wanted.

I didn't get very involved in the debates over permitting reforms since I didn't expect we'd be able to get anything out of the House that Biden would sign so not sure.

Administrative law is very complex even for me and I took a course on environmental law in college.
