I’m dying at how much your daughter’s expression is you in the first one and Hannah in the third one! And the pinholes are sick! My biggest photo flaw is I’m never patient enough for long exposure stuff, I gotta chill out and try more cool stuff like this

If you come up with some results you like, I’m always excited to see people’s film experiments

This one was fully generic, but from what I can tell watching various people’s YouTube videos etc I think the ones with this Polaroid style body are usually decent. I’ve seen people rec these two specifically, so I rolled the dice on a used one that looked similar a.co/d/aaHLWWO a.co/d/2jnwnoC

The most insane thought I’ve had recently was definitely “I should get into stereo photography”

I’m totally on the same trajectory rn. Messing with my instant cameras recently for a work thing/the generally bad world has triggered intense film era nostalgia and i still have my (and my mom’s) old gear, so I think I’m just gonna go with it and burn some money at the photo lab

🫡 the hot tip from Reddit is to avoid the vivitar ones because you have to crack them and unplug the speaker to turn the menu noises off

I think it’s cool for certain conditions, and fun to pass around, but i would definitely have a real camera with me as well if I took it anywhere interesting. I took it to a new park by Winrock and it freaked at trying to print a pond scene but loved dillards lol

Yeah, it’s like a narrowish roll of receipt paper attached to a very cheap little digital camera. Extremely nonarchival obviously. There are a bunch of versions with slightly different form factors/features depending on which random Chinese factory makes them

The time period from me finding out these cameras existed to having one was like, one week lol

This costs less than thirty dollars and it will print a picture of your cat on a Costco receipt AND you can play snake on it

You can only build what will become Hank through your failure. if you fail enough, he will fully exist for a brief moment before falling into NotHankness once again

For any #photography perverts, if you want a cheap, fully circular fisheye for a full frame camera, this is a bower (aka rokinon/samyang) MFT 7.5mm f3.5 fisheye I got used, shaved the lens hood off with an xacto, and threw a Sony adapter on
