He certainly has been since the election. He got on the "we lost because we were too nice to queer people bandwagon" so fast it made me wonder if this has been his stand all along.
I'm always leery of people who abandon those who fight for human rights because it's not a "winning"strategy.

Does Trump know what happened to Julius Ceaser?

Uh... I don't think they want to use Julius Ceaser as their template... Or maybe the average CPAC attendee hasn't read either history or Shakespeare.... Ok. Carry on.

I mean it *did* happen in France 80ish years ago. Sounds like they actually learned something from it instead of just assuming (like us Americans) that it's all over and we can all go back to ignoring everything again.

Lived experience is hard to overcome. I'm not being a FAFO type, but reality doesn't give two craps if you believe in it or not. People who don't believe in reality are putting themselves and anyone adjacent to them in grave danger.

And how do you *buy* in these conditions? Not knowing you'll have the cash to back anything up, especially loans if you're job gets hacked.

I mean... "Loving" people don't usually have so much trouble staying in their intimate relationships.

Right? It's so gross to see this spreading all over the globe. It was bad enough watching the US succumb to it, but it's even worse seeing little pockets of it E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E.

🤢 horrifying. I would love to say that there is some place that is free of this garbage, but I haven't found it yet.

I sincerely hope Canadians are as united in real life as they are in a sports stadium. Working for a builder in Michigan, we get a lot of vendors from Canada and they are some of our Trumpiest vendors. Canadians - talk to your friends, family, neighbors. Don't assume you can out-vote them.

Drug for my sister to transition into NAR as an adult. Her understanding of "spiritual warfare" is almost entirely based on his first 2 books.

"This Present Darkness" was the first "horror" book I read as child. I was as goth as my high control religion allowed and would've loved to read more horror. I had no idea how formative it was and how much unpacking I had to do until I reread it as an adult. Also, I believe it was the gateway 1/

I mean... Reducing spending on science during a climate crisis has a much higher rate of backfiring, which I know *you* know, but I don't think ma and pa MAGA care much about the asteroid, if they don't even believe in climate change and that it's about to wipe their FL house off the map.

Same here. The swifter the consequences the more people relate it to the cause.

We're going to have lots of opportunities to post that gif.
Here's a gif of me, waiting for Republican white women to realize they are the largest beneficiary of DEI initiatives.
