So is Senator Marshall going to ensure that they can get work and these jobs will give them health insurance as part of this bill?

It’s any politician regardless of party. There’s no good reason folks like Pelosi, Grassley, Rogers, Waters, etc need to keep doing this into their 80s and should’ve considered getting out at their 70s. Maybe they could mentor someone to be a legislator like them if that’s their concern.

If that’s his reasoning to not vote for the bill so be it but I feel he will fold on this eventually because it’s the overall cruelty they care about.

If you’ve ever heard of the board game Sentinels of the Multiverse here are a few characters from that I’d like to see you do.

I hate the world’s obsession with AI as the solution to everything. It’s made improvements but it still heavily needs a person to review who knows their stuff.

I still don’t understand that connection. I wasn’t much of a fan of her before as she always seemed more interested in access than really reporting.

An additional wonder is why Jake Tapper felt he needed to repost it.

It’ll also unfortunately make him an early front runner for Dem primaries.

They still misquote what Pelosi was saying as well and what actually happened.

I swear that all of his followers have their own version of Trump that doesn’t exist in reality.

I’m sorry those marines have to go into this situation needlessly. This is really reckless.

He had as much authority as Musk did. I wish the media and actual ICE agents wouldn’t treat him like he is in charge.

Lack of experience is a positive for roles in the Trump admin.

I’d still like to know why this man is in govt and why he has any authority to speak for it. He is not Senate confirmed and just has the vague appt of “immigration czar” by Trump.

Tom’s message would come off better with an explanation like you’re giving.

I’m sure Fox is all over this like they would if Biden did this…

Pathetic by ABC.

By law she means what Trump says and that’s she told Congress as well.

And John Roberts continues to wonder why people don’t like SCOTUS

Still pathetic the Speaker of the House has to defer to Musk to do his job.

But I thought we were told he paid for his “tesler”. Also, what will his staffers drive now?

What will his staffers drive now?

Shameless pandering for money by Khanna and shows a lack of integrity.

It’s not surprising given he represents Silicon Valley and embraced Musk having a part in the Trump admin. Still ridiculously shameless on his part and to compare it to RFK Jr makes it worse. Both Musk and RFK have taken actions which have hurt people needlessly in this country.

I’m honestly surprised it took this long.

At least in the case of SpaceX, the Congress decided it was better to use private companies instead of funding NASA.

The breakup begins.

And yet I’m sure most of the MSM will still talk about Biden instead of the current President that has no idea what’s going on.

No wonder Ukraine didn’t want to share their plans.

I’d say it was posted by his account but there is no way he wrote that out. Regardless, I don’t see this admin being able to stop this war.

And we are all worse off for it.

I’m not denying he did a good job given what he had to take on but he was not mentally or physically able to complete a second term. It would be better than Trump but I’m not sure he wins against Trump either. Even out of office we still have a media which focuses on Biden’s mental health.

I’m still lost on why she has to become an Independent as part of this. The book cover also doesn’t read like it’s a defense. Overall, Biden and the Dems did themselves a disservice by not sticking to Biden being there only one term.
comment in response to post
Based off the title, why did she stay if it was so bad and why not speak out while it mattered? Is going independent the start of becoming a grifter?

I’ll believe it when I see it. They still need to bring back Kilmar Abrego Garcia. In general they need to not deport and imprison people in El Salvador especially without any due process.

I just hope this means they can’t pass their terrible bill in the end.

Threatening his Senate colleagues while also promoting a plan that puts the country in a worse financial state just to be cruel to poor people.

Start holding Trump officials in civil and criminal contempt. At least force Trump to explain why he has to pardon or not pardon his officials that are being held in criminal contempt.

While potentially true, there was a lot he didn’t understand but that didn’t stop him from trying to lay off federal workers for the sake of “savings”

Add on that it’s unlikely those hit by hurricanes will be able to get assistance from FEMA

I don’t get why going after these potential voters is leading to a loss? It shouldn’t be the sole plan but it is one that should be done.
