there are at least 6 more species in my area which I haven't seen because they're all rare their shells are also ribbed similarly to C. pumila and they are mainly distinguished by different structure of various folds in the aperture

C. laminata has probably the largest distribution of all door snails (most of Europe except for northernmost and southernmost areas) and is the most common species of the family here while C. pumila is rarer, has a smaller range and I've only seen it in 3 places
