Explicitly seems to be rich people getting their comeuppance. Let’s hope for an absolute battering of this “Golden Age”.

Barcelona have just gone 5-4 up so not top officially yet (annoyingly)

Went against the grain and captained Wood, had Foden last two GWs instead of Palmer and had a massive jump from 3.3m to 2.3m.
If only I’d started my Palace players I’d be even further up!

Makes you wonder why he didn’t come on sooner!
Much better second half, Sels and the Forest defence absolutely played a blinder.
comment in response to

Well at least we went on to win that game. Don’t see that happening in this one. Forest look resolute, we look devoid of any ideas despite most having a rest at the weekend.

I think this puts to bed any notion that the UK are wanting to be a world leader on tackling the climate crisis. Very disappointing.

That’s a fair point! Masters of our own downfall, and further investment into AI will inevitably lead to harsher effects on the climate.
Although it does feel like a small but powerful minority mainly causing the crisis rather than every facet of it, unlike AI which itself is wholly contributing.
comment in response to

Genuinely can’t fathom how something that’s contributing to the climate crisis is going to somehow aid in fighting it. AI is a plague in more ways that one.

For comedy you should really look at Dropout. Shows like Game Changer, Very Important People, Gastronauts and Make Some Noise are all highlights and it’s £6 a month. Insane.

I’ve swapped Gordon in for Odegaard. After 6 weeks and his biggest return being 3 points, it’s time to move him on. Especially not contributing any G/A in the last couple of games where Arsenal bagged.

Not sure on the Spurs options, but Gordon and Bowen are potentials

I put him in cause he usually comes good around now in previous years, alas he’s flopping hard

Is Odegaard still in the mix or is he making way? More blanks than he should be having as CAM
comment in response to

I’m not pinning all my hopes on Odegaard, he’s been awful since I’ve brought him in. Hopefully he does something in Saka’s absence, but this is ultimately the last chance for him in my team.

He’s literally hanging on by a thread. No return against Ipswich and it’s a one way stop to Bootsville.

Not only is he a bang average, overhyped keeper, he’s possibly the most dangerous one in the league. What will it take before refs click on to his behaviour?
comment in response to
post
Boring clickbait stat. The team have conceded the fewest goals in the PL and CL. And dribbled past could mean anything, did the attacker create a chance, did they lose possession? Is nonsense.

Would never in a million years have guessed this. Sounds like the optimal time to use it would be when a lower league team hits a purple patch, so many potential bonuses.

Oh aye they do, but at the moment it feels like matches are very reliant on Salah’s goal involvements. If Darwin had Jota’s finishing and instincts we’d have probably won that.
comment in response to
post
I don’t get how Salah’s foul wasn’t even looked at once by VAR. That was 100% a pen and yet again, waved away because it’s Mo. If that was Gordon going down the refs giving it.
comment in response to
post
100% agree, bar the chance he just missed, I don’t remember him once testing Pope. Then again, I don’t really remember anyone bar Salah and Jones (for his goal) testing him. Whisper it, but the dependence on Salah for goals is a bit of a concern. Others need to step up in big moments going forward.

Still has a better chorus than I Luv It
comment in response to
post
I think the difference is, whilst those songs are awful, they at least have a chorus that has a melody and flows with the rest of the song. There’s no cohesion to the chorus in I Luv It, she’s just repeating the same phrase in a very annoying tone over a beat that doesn’t really match her rhythm.

Big, and I cannot stress this enough, yikes
comment in response to

That chorus is the worst of the 2020s. There’s no fixing a song like that no matter who made it. The fact it was Camilla Cabello just exemplified all the worst qualities of the song and heightened them.

It’s also how many losses at Anfield Pep has had at City. Clearly his brains scrambled after being battered by so many teams!
