This was Satomi Mikuriya. I became a bit of a fan of his last year. He was a good illustrator and seemed passionate about his work, but he's mostly known for his Nora Rock Me! project launching incomplete, and this state-of-the-art sequence that aged poorly by the time we saw it in the states. :P

This is a piece of a shmup I've been working on off and on for the last few years. I don't know that it'll see the light of day, and I wanted someone to at least see the dialogue portrait. I purposely coded the jaw to be "off", so it trailed slightly behind the main head while the character talked.
