I am proudly Canadian 🇨🇦, a beaded jewellery maker, dog lover, road tripper and British TV enthusiast. I am a bit of a political junkie who leans left. And, there is nothing better than a good cuppa and chocolate to cure whatever ails ya! 😊

Especially women of colour who are smarter than them.

He’s afraid of a strong, intelligent woman of colour who speaks the truth.

I’m sorry it is not working for you. Here is another site that uses past voting data. www.votewell.ca Again, always make an informed choice based on your research and choose the party you feel most aligned with.

And I have Lexi!

Yes that is correct. The NDP is the next strongest party in your riding. Mine is the Liberal party. Voting for the next strongest party is the one to vote for to hopefully not split the vote.

If you click the "why" link it will show you the breakdown by party in your riding. Liberals are likely in second place in your riding. Please vote however you choose to vote, this is just FYI should you choose to use it. I will never tell you who to vote for, but I will encourage you to vote.

Liberal in my riding too. It used to be staunchly NDP, but not any more.

www.smartvoting.ca will help with that so that you don't split your vote and accidentally vote him back in.

If you want to do that without splitting your vote and accidentally voting him back in go here to find out who you should vote for in your riding. Let's send a message to him! www.smartvoting.ca share it with your friends!

No surprise. He's like Trump, tell people what they want to hear and do what he wants anyway.

What is going on? Too many unqualified people being confirmed.

I agree! We Canadians are good at that. My Dad always used humour in times like that. I get it from him. We once traded darkly humourous comments at each other in the doctor's office. She just looked at us, but then joined in. Boy, I miss my Dad.

It would be funny if it weren't true.

Because they can't say anything nice about Harry's involvement.

Someone should remind, I mean educate, Trump on the history between us. 😊

Right?! It makes me so happy to see her so happy and how happy all the people are who get loving from her. When she is being petted by several people at once she will look at me with a big smile, her tail wagging so hard I think it will fall off and my heart swells so big!

And now they want to get rid of the Department of Education.

Time for Charlie to man the helm!

The best of Canadians! It seems like yesterday I was following his journey and later participating in fundraisers in his name. While living in Haliburton we did our Terry Fox run by canoe.

Being the leader of the party has always been his goal.

The people who vote for him are same people who vote for Trump, easily fooled and low information when it comes to politics.

This brightened my day! My dog is also a registered therapy dog and does a lot of visiting. It makes her as happy as this dog is.

We think the same. Waiting to see what Ford does. He says he will, but hasn't yet. He often says one thing and does another.

Especially us Canadians. As a result we have learned the art of passive aggressiveness and saying sorry, but when are challenged we become Mama Bears, we will stand up for what we believe in.

No, our provincial premier, Doug Ford. Trudeau is our country's Prime Minister. He doesn't like Trump. A quick explanation is that a Canadian premier is the head of government of a province or a territory like a US governor. We are part of History in the making and we are watching and learning!

I agree with you! My Dad always said my big mouth will get me in trouble, and it has, but I can't help but stand up for injustices. I feel for the Americans who will suffer the effects from the boycotts.
comment in response to post
Forgot to add, we have a provincial election coming up and our current premier is a MAGA and Trump lover. I am working hard (as are other people I know) at getting people to go out and vote and providing a link to a website that helps them vote strategically so they don't split their vote.

I agree, people need to stand up and make their voices heard! I'm Canadian, but I still have a voice, I talk to my American cousin on a regular basis and she is very pro Democracy and calls 45/47 the orange Cheeto. And that is the most polite name she has for him.
