Film people have no boundaries. The day after the election was eye opening as hell. It was like people just realized the type of country we lived in.
I was running from white women who wanted to hug on me or show me their feminist stickers. I just wanted to get through the day!

Iāve always hated group projects! Cause Iāve read everything forwards and backward.
Black folks, Black women in particular, donāt have the privilege of not knowing wtf is going on. Itās infuriating.

The longer I stay home, in my own energy with the muerto, the less I want to go back to set.
I simply do not have the desire to put on a brave face and listen to these circular conversations.

He was one of the kindest, most down to earth people. He used to teach us all the latest dances when we were kids. Very sweet and humble guy.

Low brow, high stakes, crack smoke, Black folks
Big Macs, fat folks, ecstasy capsules
Presidential scandals, everybody move
Two words, Mos Def, K West, hot shit
Calm down, get back, ghetto people got this!"

I donāt know not one celebrity that has openly admitted to practicing Palo or 21 Divisions.

I remember her altar for San Miguel and how she was very hush hush about it.
Personally, I think she practices 21 Divisiones which is more secretive/less talked about AND sheās getting work done in Lucumi too. Thereās no hard rules against practicing or initiating into multiple things.

I guess thatās a good sign tho. Standing up for yourself is healthy. Vocalizing how you feel is healthy.
