A big shoutout to @scottishinsider.org for giving a lot of positive and constructive feedback. Most of the changes that were done today came from him! 💪

I don’t want to freelance forever.
I want to build software that makes me enough money to wake up and build what I feel like building that day.
Freelancing is just my way of funding my "businesses" 💪🏼

1 year later… No regrets 🚀
I work way more than I would in a 9-5.
I probably make less money too.
But I wake up every day EXCITED to build.
That’s what matters.

The “normal” path? Study → get a job → work for 40 years.
That's not what I want for myself.
I’ve been building stuff since I started programming.
I've loved every second of it. Why stop just because I finished a degree?

February 19, 2024. I landed my first client.
Still finishing my master’s degree.
Never got paid for coding before.
The pay? 😅
But I didn’t care—I was finally building something for a real use case.

One thing I do, which I assumed we all did until hacking on something IRL with a couple of friends who use Cursor, is to *liberally* add files into context. E.g.
"The [@file] component needs to be split into smaller files similar to [@another-file], and we should add tests in [@wherever]"

what?!? we can do that? 🫣
I have been putting the files into the context and writing like:
"The utils.py needs to be split into smaller files..."
Sometimes it does not work properly... Using @ should help!! Thank you! I learned something new today

What are your best tips and/or tricks to take advantage of this awesome AI Feature from Cursor?

"Please update the existing tests based on this new feature or create new following the same principle we have followed for the other tests, if needed. Run them (without asking for permission) and fix the errors until it works."

Build an AI Agent and turn it into a SaaS
Sell both the agent itself and the service it provides

ohhh got it, yeah you are right on that aspect, for direct marketing and all yeah, Bluesky is not like the other platforms. I was thinking more on a personal brand perspective and not so much in promoting stuff directly

I'm not tracking how many posts I interact on Bluesky yet... Might be a good idea for @bskycopilot.com tho 👀

wdym? you don't think Bluesky works as Twitter, for example?
I have to disagree! I have had much better results here than on Twitter for brand new accounts. And even better results on Threads!
