From France. Congratulations Canada. You have an amazing guy leading you. And you have an amazing country.

We can speculate. We don't have proof. Trump is far from stupid. Which is what makes him dangerous.

Become president, twice. Stayed out of prison, multiple times. Great mob bosses are very street smart. The US left has consistently underestimated him and spends tons of time shouting at the wind.

Lots of reasons to suspect Trump but nothing that is conclusive in saying Putin has a hold over him. Why not focus on the fact that you already had multiple pieces of proof to convict Trump but as a nation you failed.

I'm not your bro. Yes. Trump had financial dealings with associates of Putin. I've never seen anything indicating directly Putin. Have you?

I'm not condoning what he's doing in any way.

I disagree. They've interacted. Trump admires him for sure but I have seen no evidence of control. You can just as easily explain his actions by a wish for minerals and to separate Russia from China.

Don't disagree but irrelevant.

I have. Lots of innuendo. No evidence. I have a feeling that Trump is too street smart to get trapped by Putin. I also have a feeling that Putin has something that Trump wants. I can prove neither.

What does that have to do with Trump and Putin?

I'd also add that any real liberal (which I am) would agree with this. There are a lot of liberals in the USA that are not. They are as much of a problem as the fascist, fundamentalist right that you've home grown.

Public lynching on social networks followed by death threats is not a substitute for a justice system. It's revolting and one of the causes of the dreadful state that the USA is in.

Really? You have evidence of that? I would love to see it. If you don't, please try not to make BS like X.

Looking from outside I've always seen Americans as having extreme reactions to things. That works both right and left. Cancelling people you don't like doesn't work for me. There is an independent legal system for a reason.

From their website. 8 months warranty. They're really confident about the durability of their product! 🤣

Isn't this just fight, never admit a mistake? That's what they apply to everything else. The moment they waiver they lose their base.

I have a feeling that the key objective here is to sign a business deal with Russia for rare earth and a military deal to put pressure on China. I doubt this will work.

You are about to lose your democracy. Anything you can do to stop that is a good idea.

C'est quand même honteux que seulement en France nous ayons des représentants minables comme vous qui minimisent le menace Russe.

And by the way Macron, like Obama, talks very beautifully and wants to do a lot but in the end the forces moving us are slower and more powerful. And neither played a long game.
comment in response to

Honestly we can. But not in the same way. And perhaps it will be healthier but first, get a real government back. That is the number one problem.

You've let this shit ferment in your basement for a long time. Now it's going to bite you and you won't get your ideas back without a fight.

Honestly I'm currently in the mood "we can never trust America again" even though I have many close friends there.

I agree but give me an alternative. There must be moderate idiots. At present I would imagine that their calculation is that if they stand up they get shot. I'm just saying don't alienate them because you may need them.
comment in response to

Yup. But your democracy is under attack. You need allies even in the drains of the shit that you hate.

The other lesson from the EU is that we were foolish to trust you.

Proof? There are several that voted against their party.

Writing as someone from the outside looking in I would beg to disagree. I think you will only save your democracy by finding something that unites you with the republicans that do want democracy.
comment in response to

I think you meant to convince not to replace.
comment in response to

Not sure I see a link with Chamberlain. That you oppose Trump by not voting for people in the republican party that you consider moderating elements has nothing to do with negotiating with him. Absolutism encourages extremists IMHO.
comment in response to

Why is absolutism a sign of virtue?

Maybe but I don't think he's the main problem. I think he's more likely to do little harm. (And I'm not a troll and not a fan of any of them)

Fuck the current government of the USA. And to all of my great friends there. Fight, peacefully for your constitution.
