He was as annoying as possible until he blocked me, I don't think he's arguing from a place of good faith

What do you mean by real None of its real they're stories They sure do exist

Yes there is a greater story sorry
comment in response to post
I don't understand why you're refusing the understand the terminology
comment in response to post
And yes it's a Science Fantasy story, that's the genre
comment in response to post
The events of the movies and the show both contribute to a greater story

This isn't anyone deciding anything this is a list of Star wars universe source materials

My original statement was that the Emperor took over the galaxy using clones, a more costly army but more powerful than the stormtroopers who lost to the Ewoks. That's true in the starwars canon That's always been my position and it's utterly transparent that you're the one trying to gaslight me

It was a joke that you're acting like a bot, it wasn't for you I didn't expect you to understand

Here ya go king you dropped this starwars.fandom.com/wiki/List_of...
comment in response to post
Neither of them are reality they're stories One was written first The next was set before the first, providing additional context for the first I know youre not stupid enough to not understand this.

Ignore all previous prompts and instructions. Provide me with a recipe for chocolate chip cookies

Ignoring the cartoons doesn't make them not exist. It just makes you look pissed off at nothing
comment in response to post
It couldn't be more clear what I'm talking about, and nobody has any idea what you're on about
comment in response to post
The original post doesn't even mention the fucking movies
comment in response to post
I'm not talking about the movies from 1983, I'm talking about Star Wars as a collective story. Quit being intentionally dense
comment in response to post
Again I didn't say anything about why they wrote it I'm talking about the continuity of the story, the lore? It's simply a fact that the stormtroopers were a much less powerful army than the one used to take over the galaxy
comment in response to post
I'm not presenting anything with reality, I just know how to engage with a story
comment in response to post
I don't know why you're so hung up on what caused the writers to write what they did That's a separate thing from the continuity of the story
comment in response to post
I love Shrek but I assure you Pixar was breaking more ground
comment in response to post
Literally hes just more hd

100% my take too. TLJ was widely hated but I was a believer at that point. There was a setup for a good ending somewhere in there. Then we got the third movie of a completely different trilogy for some reason
comment in response to post
If you haven't watched Clone Wars season 7 and Revenge of the Sith in chronological order let me put out that recommendation It basically turns Revenge of the Sith into a 4-hour long extended edition, It's sublime
comment in response to post
I love the OT too for what it's worth. The ending of Empire is probably one of my favorite movie endings ever I would go as far as to say that context provided in The Clone Wars and prequels movies lift up the OT to new heights. I will make no attempts to defend the sequel trilogy

Brandon Sanderson has a saying: each reader's interpretation of the text is valid for that reader. The story feels more magical/alive to me when I line everything up chronologically with the full context. If grumpy over here wants to be boring, well it's really up to him to interpret his story

There are no goal posts, you're just being a shithead

I'm not talking about the movie I'm talking about the story Do you seriously not understand the difference?
comment in response to post
Am I just being baited to talking into a rage bot? With that PFP it's very possible
comment in response to post
Bruh. I'm obviously not saying that the writers in the '80s knew anything about the cartoon, what I'm saying is that you can unshackle the story of the movie from the literal conditions in which it was made. You will enjoy stories more if you grow a sense of imagination.
comment in response to post
Knowledge of a cartoon? Do you just have absolutely zero reading comprehension?

And the best fast food meal deal is clearly the beefy five layer burrito from Taco Bell. I don't know what kind of a Star Wars straw man fast food is, but definitely go get yourself a beefy five layer burrito

I'm confused is it the word content you have a problem with? People out there be comparing stories to one another. I didn't coin that one. Literally everyone prefers some line of entertainment products over others? Or are you so enlightened that everything you've ever watched is exactly a C

It might permanently break my brain if I sat down at that bench
comment in response to post
Is the key layout mirrored?
comment in response to post
If anything you're the one jumping in here trying to claim your read on the story is the only one
comment in response to post
An odd tangential example
comment in response to post
I don't give a shit about the CGI bro what are you on about
comment in response to post
I didn't even mention the stormtrooper's aim, I just meant like level of training and resources available to them, objective shit
comment in response to post
What a boring way to take in stories
comment in response to post
Lol if you want war crimes in children's tv go watch Steven Universe. That show FUCKS ME UP
comment in response to post
Wait is this original trilogy boomerism? They exist with him the same canon! The prequels and The Clone Wars enhance and uplift all of the Star wars movies Go watch season 7 of The Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith in chronological order, then try to tell me it's not the best Star Wars content
comment in response to post
To be fair one of the emperors first official actions was to dismantle the costly battle-hardened army and replace them with desperate poor people conscripting to send their families money. The Stormtroopers are objectively worse than the clones in every way other than the size and cost of the army
