Found a Clearwing Moth outside my work (I have never seen one before???) and it made my whole week. Look at them! They're SO SMALL!!

Hahah oh my fucking god.

I think my crispy tofu experiment turned out okay! I still need to figure out portion sizes (i.e. buy more of things, tofu didn't go as far as I thought, oops) but I'm glad to have made myself good meals for my work week. Even if it did fill my dishwasher right back up after emptying it...

Got up early for an appointment that ended up canceled. Now for the fun game of: can I go back to sleep before my ADHD meds kick in and make that impossible

Finished the pigeons. I loved every brush stroke. Amazing reference photo by ernestophoto on Instagram.

Update on the prank war: I took the stolen middles out of the pens and taped them to faux flower stems, and made a very nice bouquet. Bonus: If my manager kills me, we can put these on my grave!

Finally, I got something off the needles! I've been working on this Seaglass Hat by @woolandpine.bsky.social on the weekends at the local yarn store. Needs maybe a cute little pompom, but I'm really satisfied with it! Pictures don't do it justice. Yarn info in the first pic :) 🧶 #knitting #knitsky

I've involved myself in an office prank war. The desk was coated in sticky notes. ...So I stole the middles out of their pens. 😌

It is Monday. My shift is missing multiple people. My tummy hurts. I am being SO. BRAVE.

Happy *quiet, chill* Pride.

Sometimes, I see incredible photos of animals. Like a heron catching a fish. Or a wasp dragging away a spider... And I'm really glad there's not some mega predator that'll swoop down and carry me off as I leave for work with my lunchbox.

Been going to my LYS and joining the knitting circle these last few weekends, and man, I really enjoy the community. I'm the youngest one there by far, but it's so great to listen to everyone. It's a lot of wonderful light, life, and fiber.

Three window strikes seen on my walk at work today. Yellow-billed cuckoo, blue grosbeak, and a sapsucker. I requested my work to consider birdstrike film and was denied due to cost. Seeing these birds just leaves me frustrated and helpless. Lost lives measured in dollars.

Quietly proud of myself this month. Debuted two new recipes in my meal prep rotation, including my first attempt at a homemade eel sauce which I marinated some tofu in (my first time working with tofu!) and then tried my hand at cube steak! Turns out my 30s are for learning how to cook?

Card info got stolen right as bills are due. Bank caught it at least so grateful for that. Can't call for a fix until the morning, so I'm sitting here trying to figure out what I need to update and paths of least resistance. Friendly reminder to keep an eye on your transaction histories.

What do you mean I still have to go to work? I had a healthy breakfast and made an adult phone call! Clearly, that's everything I should have to do today!

Truly this man is simply An Ooze.

Working an overnight OT shift on top of my usual one and just feeling my consciousness disintegrating atom by atom in this last hour.

happy mothers day 🪺

When I can't find the skulky bird in the tree: I hate this. Why can't you be more obvious. This sucks. When I find the skulky bird in the tree: OMG, HI BABY! YOU'RE AMAZING LOOK AT YOU GO! #birdsky #birding
