A bright pair of comfy socks in dark times, I think, is an excellent thing to have in your pocket (or shoes as the case may be)

This is so dreamy and soft and really just struck me with the peace of the moment. I am in love with the gentleness of this whole piece, and I am going to be seizing one to put somewhere. Bless, and happy solstice/midsummer (and Pride, too!). πŸ’›

Oh my god, the internet lying about how a particular stitch works would ruin anyone's day (and knitting). I'm sorry that happened 😭 As with your last set, I'm here with pompoms cheering for your success! You're charging into this so fearlessly, you love to see it!!!

Not me peeking through my fingers because I led you to this one πŸ˜…πŸ«£ But it looks like you've gotten some solid advice on this! Stitches restore with yarn overs in the following rows. It's weird. It's dark magic. It's....knitting!! (The # of patterns that break my brain are innumerable, I see you 🀝)

Birch Shortie Socks by Rachel Nutting! They look super fancy and complicated, but it's just slipped stitches, no cables! They make cute little socks that look super fancy without being terrifying.

Ohhh that is gorgeous. Do you have any thoughts or plans for it brewing?

Thank you! I'm glad folks think it's neat, too. ☺️

Ahhh!! Thank you! You're the best! πŸ₯Ή Make sure you rest on your laurels a bit to celebrate this sock, but not too long lest ye be forever trapped on One Sock Island. Congratulations again!

I've made like three sets of socks and never was ambitious enough to try color changes for heel/toe/cuff. What's your secret, please tell me. πŸ‘€πŸ“ Also, beating the laddering is incredible. I NEVER could get it to go away on DPNs, so I gave up and have tiny Chiagoos for when the sock bug bites.

I mean, there is something poetic about it being a still of Marco just absolutely clocking Curtis tbh

If there's only one...maybe it can live its life as a sock puppet? πŸ˜‚

That just means more reasons for classy, knitted hats. 😌

WHAT. You're lying!! I can only hope I age this gracefully! I think the secret has got to be the knitting, right? πŸ€”πŸ§Ά

We've finally found a way to make Scaly-Breasted Munia true to name! (Seriously, this just reads as scales to me, and my brain rejects it wholly)

Crying about these boys being willing to talk to each other about the shit that they're dealing with. I love them.

Given my pacing, sweaters in the summer makes the most sense if I plan to have them done in time to enjoy them πŸ˜… So you're not alone there...

What a classy cardigan! The shades of blue mottled on the close up of the sleeve are lovely and lend such a wonderful additional patterning to the stitches.
