Good luck trying to manipulate an INFJ person. I get it that manipulation is the only way to survive for some but don’t do it to an INFJ. It may be your last.

First ever G5 geomagnetic storm recorded, with more to come. I unplugged everything in the house last night except the freezer, essential items in Faraday Cage. Another 24-48hrs to go. Stay safe everyone.

One way to look at this is that it’s the natural course of free market. Market demands huge volume of cheaper aircraft’s, then, suppliers start cutting corners. Demand drops and quality rises and/or price drops further. What are we supposed to be angry at? www.businessinsider.com/safety-inspe...

Shall I live amongst those with the same craft and sharpen it? Or shall I live where my craft is scarce?

N E V E R crimp your own cable. Why? Because you will forget you did it and absolutely trust all cables and the cable is the last item you check after you replaced all other hardware.

A question for any systems thinkers out there. When asked “do you believe in god?” (Or something along those lines), how do you answer?

In a right/wrong, left/right, for/against obsessed world, I find myself always existing in the space in between. I don’t feel I have to take any sides. I just respect all views and opinions as they are. Don’t give in to the pressure. Think what works for you even if it only works for you.

Age old argument "the billionaires be spending those billions on saving the hard problems on earth, than sending rockets to space" - I hear you. the hard problems often need tons of imagination. I don't have to agree with narcissistic egoistic billionaires but I know the risk they take - loneliness.

I came across a very swift website today. It was so fast to the extent that I began suspecting that it might not be connected to any databases. Then I realised I have developed a general distrust for anything quick. Cooking, opinions, government responses…

They say live today like your last day. I am a longtermist. This kind of thinking really gets me lost. What I do today is only real if tomorrow comes and tomorrow always comes.

We like big egos until we don’t. So, humble Altman would have painted a different picture- surrounded by even bigger ego investors and competitors. amp.theguardian.com/technology/2...

Toshiba is delisting after 70+ years of listing. Reports say it’s trying to cut ties with short term speculative investors. Is this yet another privatisation (or nationalisation) of a very influential co.? Or is this longtermism investment for the future? www.reuters.com/technology/t...

Being able to understand both sides of an argument is a 100% guarantee to be ignored. When I’m in pain, I’d like some support but that support means much more if I am treated as a person, not just someone who is on the “same side”.

Something about the Swedes. While I am encouraged by this, we need to think harder about what Musk’s supporters like about him. I can’t stand anything that comes out of this man but I know there are a lot of people who love everything this man stands for. www.wired.co.uk/article/swed...

I love my dogs. Can’t imagine a life without them…. But, they are so dumb sometimes. This observation is mutual probably.

True, the rocket exploded. But we now have terabytes of data about what happens when you accidentally dump thousands of gallons of burning fuel on microhabitats in the Florida wetlands where the only known members of a bunch of different bird and lizard species have lived for millions of years

Just got home from back to back children’s parties. Sorry other mamas and papas. It’s not you. It’s me. My smile lasted exactly 7 minutes.

Sunny Saturday morning in the Japanese mountains. Expecting snow later today. Can’t beat this inexplicable anticipation.

Monetising lies has been a phenomena as long as our existence.

A young student asked me what the difference between a standard entrepreneur and a social entrepreneur was. Simple, pure question. No irony intended. My answer was, if you care about your net impact being positive, then you are a social entrepreneur.

I get it that there is a general dislike of folks with “thinker” in bio. For someone like me who really enjoy thinking and doesn’t use “thinker” as an excuse to attack another idea, how should I call myself?

I gave a lecture at a high school today about entrepreneurship. I’d be surprised if anyone still wants to start a business. I tried to balance the upside and reality. Fellow entrepreneurs, what would you say?

There will always be more that I don't know than what I know and will know. It also means that what I don't know is probably more interesting than what I already know. It's the same with jokes. The setup, the question has to come before the punchline, the answer. So, what is the question?

My barber told me today that I should consider becoming a politician. My barber talk a lot but I’ve never heard him tell a lie. He’s got a razor on my throat. No need to lie. How does one become a politician?
