I dunno, I think your peak performance should be when you come back too early from spending all day crapping your guts out and look dead in your feet…

Ngl, walking home after a 3-0 win in the sunshine somehow beats walking home in the piss down rain after a 2-0 loss 😆

Porro on getting subbed off at 75 mins to give him some rest, explodes in anger due to his masochistic desire to play as many minutes of Spurs’ season as possible

When I worked in a pub kitchen there were two people who regularly ordered a tuna, cheese and bean jacket potato.
Perverts we called them…

Spoiler:
3-0 win, Son brace, Tel gets his first goal.

I did see someone say Wolves were the same way about being called just Wolverhampton and I’d imagine there’s some style guide around when to use Man instead of Manchester for United and City.
As usual though the Spurs fan base tends to explode in every direction and opinions to any article on SM 😂

I agree, it’s not struck me as something particularly Levy/ENIC specific, although the timing isn’t great, but given it’s seemingly been a couple of weeks since the email that’s perhaps not their fault either.

Me when Spurs win:
“Why did we only get 30 seconds of coverage!”
Me when spurs lose:
“Why are we getting more than 30 seconds of coverage!”

This is why I was slightly stunned we didn’t beat Liverpool in the second leg despite everything. It was the most Tottenham result I could envisage.

Tbf I don’t listen when we’ve been particularly bad, because I need to dissociate myself from Spurs too.

But is the corporatisation of football as an enterprise a specific Levy issue? Most I’ve seen seem to have taken it that way.
I suppose I just feel the article is a mountainous seeming molehill, which I seem to have contributed to 🙃😂

I don’t really listen to Spurs pods beside @thegameisaboutglory.co.uk so most of the time I’ve know idea who the people are who everyone is angry at 😂

- over on pitch issues, but it’s not like any other management structure we could have in place wouldn’t operate a marketing team one of whom’s job it is to monitor the club’s branding.

My feeling is: are they objecting to the email itself or the headline?
An email to media outlets saying “please put us as Tottenham Hotspur or Spurs on your graphics” doesn’t really correlate to the concerns people have over the ownership.
I mean at a stretch you could say it’s putting business -

Valid? Probably, of the import it’s being given? Probably not.
But where would Spurs fans be without losing our minds over everything every which way?

The perfect Werner balance - scores 3, also misses 3 open goals
