Assume that conception was planned by keepers. I was very sad when Lily died. It’s not a big space, as I recall at the Portland zoo….as adorable as she is…I feel it’s just wrong to breed when there’s not a large grassy area for them. Maybe there is now…it’s been a few years since I was there.

Taking opposite view here. I agree with Chris Hays. Shutdown would give dump and mush free rein to carve off as many federal staff as possible. Just hoping here that in the coming months..Dems will strategize on preventing chaos next Sept 30.
