Lawful good developer move
I can't imagine booting up balatro to buy JimboCoin™ so I can purchase the Wheel-of-fortune card boxes and open virtual card packs.

This is why I 100% support doing game jams in the middle of projects as a break.
It lets you get pumped up again for your main project after being away for a little bit :D
(These telephone poles *are* cute though)

Still a very cool concept, and lovely style. I'm excited for this one!
(Even though I suck at deduction games.)

Me seeing this exactly 14 hours in the future: 🥹
(I already got the game so it doesn’t matter but I still thought it was funny timing)

(Also thank you for hosting the original jam, none of this would have been possible without it!)

Ahh I'm so sorry to put it on sale right after you bought it haha.
Thank you so much for the support though!! It means a lot 🥰

If Itch isn't your style, it'll be on sale on Steam shortly, for the same 80% off price tag!
This is likely the last time it will be on this high of a sale for a while so if you have *any* interest in the game at all and don't already have it now is a great time to grab it!

This would cause companies to start putting games in bulky cardboard boxes again

Retro horror game that ISN'T PSX?! Impossible... (But seriously looks awesome, love it!)

It's not perfect but it makes it slightly cleaner, I think.

I don't know if this would work for your case, but I also had the issue of 'a lot of small jam games cluttering my itch page' and my small solution was to categorize them with the newer games showing first, followed by a smaller sliding list containing the rest of the games.

Right omg
I run into the issues of the colors sometimes not blending well, it’s so hard to contrast the bi colors well with anything 😭

A noble goal indeed.

(The mixels from 2018 still make me cringe I’m sorry I just put that curse upon ye)

This looks sooooooo good, it’s been lovely seeing the progression of things so fast!
I don’t know if it’s already planned but I think it’d be cool to see more moving pieces in the menu (slight foreground fog scrolling, the clouds slowly scrolling / parallaxing in the background, etc)

Truly development magic ✨
Having only really started publicly making things in 2018-2019 I find myself taking a lot of the modern luxuries for granted — but it can be great to step back and marvel at how skilled / talented devs have been in the past.

I love videos like this they’re so fun.
A lot of the videos on GameHut’s channel are also great for hearing about how some games achieved certain effects.

(That's the canon one, buuuut I had to see what Phebe would look like if she had 'stares into your soul' eyes haha)

Absolutely. It's a whole different, but suuuuper valuable skillset! I know that a lack of it is a common issue a lot of indie's have haha.

Lots of wonderful / talented people! 🧡
I love making things but I struggle so hard at the community building and actually showcasing aspect haha.

Of course! I think you nailed those points, just based on the screenshots and trailer :)
I'm sure it's very fun on stream too, with the integration.
