Hallway to wonder where in the world things had gone so wrong.

Through, things just changed?"
Ghost felt tears well up in his eyes and saw the moment Soap realized they were there.
"Simon-" He reached out but Ghost caught his hand and put it down slowly.
"Yes" Ghost's voice quivered "things changed...I'm sorry."
He then walked off leaving Soap alone in the

Soap was mad, Ghost could see it yet he felt nothing. There was no need to soothe or comfort Soap like there was in the past. In truth he felt hollow, felt like he was longing for emotions that would no longer come.

"I don't know what you mean." He kept his voice as level as he could.
"You know what I mean! We don't hangout anymore, you don't talk to me, and half the bloody base can't find you because you're always off of some mission that isn't even important enough to require someone like you."

Dropping Soap so suddenly. He didn't deserve that, but he also didn't deserve this version of Ghost, the one that was lost and hopeless without him.
It was after about two months of solos that Soap finally cornered him. "Ghost where the fuck have you been?! What happened to us?"

As much to Soap as he meant to Ghost? He'd never know the answer.
He began asking Price for more solo missions, simple recon at best and infiltration gigs at worst. Either way he was just happy to be out and away from the man causing him so much pain. But at the same time he felt guilty for

Chance with the man that he had fallen deeply and hopelessly in love with. "I'm glad it all worked out for you Johnny."
After that Ghost began to draw himself away from Soap, he just couldn't handle seeing the man knowing that he could never be anything more than a friend to him. Had he ever meant

The irony of the situation wasn't lost on Ghost. Of course he was going to help Soap, what kind of a friend would he be if he didn't. But at the same time he destroyed any

But as lovely as it was, that had to end for Ghost.
After a few days of radio silence Soap came up to Ghost with a smile that would usually light up his world, but instead it sunk his heart to one of the lowest points it's ever been.
"You were right Ghost! We just needed some time but we were able

"You think so?" Tears still threatened to spill from those gorgeous blue eyes.
Ghost wanted nothing more than to take all his pain away. "I do." He then pulled Soap in for a hug.
The two of them ended up falling asleep, Soap caged in the safety of Ghosts arms.

Got out of hand and we both said some horrible things to each other. I don't ken if we can come back from this." Soap managed to say between sobs.
Boyfriend? Since when did Soap have a boyfriend? For how long? Why didn't-
No. Soap was hurting, Ghost couldn't be selfish right now.

Care to admit. But he was going to change that.
Ghost had been wondering about their friendship, it seems to go further, run deeper than just two blokes in the army. It took him a few days to settle in the idea but he wanted to confess to Johnny, let him know about his feelings and propose the idea

Couldn't sleep, talking the night away. Sometimes Ghost would just listen because he ran out of things to say and he loved to hear Johnny's voice.
It was like this for months, Ghost sharing his quiet moments with the only man who seemed to break past his walls. He cared for Johnny more than he'd

Maybe he'd invest some time into this game.

Soap jumped at the sound of the voice. He double checked his volume and was confused. All the other characters didn't have voices, so why did he? Thinking it was just a bug Soap browsed through the answers and they began

Couldn't find Ghost. It wasn't until he walked into a random hallway that he got a strange set of text.
*The shadows seem darker in this hallway and you feel eyes on you. Take a closer look?*
He clicked yes and suddenly a man appeared on the screen. The first thing he noticed was the skull mask,

To load he was quite surprised by how well it was made. There was music on the title and the text was bold with bright colors, and the background was drawn with extreme detail. Some of the other games he'd gotten to earlier this week. One being a game with giant spiders that made Gaz's skin crawl. Soap shuddered at the thought as well. A normal spider? No big deal, but one that was the size of a punch buggie wasn't a pleasant thought.
