Thanks! I don't remember if I used India Ink or black acrylic paint... but probably one of those two... leaning more towards the paint because ink can sometimes wick through the grain, messing up the crisp lines.

Thanks! Yeah... there are some that I like and others not so much. But I really enjoy the carving process (most of it) and that heals a lot of 'wounds'. (-:

Well... yeah, those are all gone... No promises... but just in the last week or two I started carving again (don't have a shop yet) but if I run across a good piece of wood and end up making one of these... you've got first dibs. No obligation.. just first right of refusal. (-:
