Did anyone happen to catch the “edited” list before it was taken down?

paper from Brookings Institute, circa 2011. www.brookings.edu/articles/the... I regularly read the newsletters from @hcrichardson.bsky.social, but don’t recall hearing about this particular aspect of the US/Ukraine/Russia historical relationship. /end

since the beginning of the Zelenskyy/Trump dynamics. The whole thing adds some vitally important details to the situation, particularly how it is needing to play out for treaty and security purposes. I figured I’d find a reasonable near-historical source today & came across this summary research /2

I saw this Rep give an interview to @pbsnews.bsky.social from MaL during the first few days of wild actions by Muskrats/DOGE and she came across then as misinformed and confused about the realities on the ground. Seems fitting that she’s in a Whip role for the GOP Conference.

you might already know this, but if you don’t know, I’m sure you would love to know that they produced a recording of all of Coop’s “Diane” tapes. I d’led it from a sharing site bitd. It was great to have it in my shuffle queue. www.discogs.com/release/5895...

I mean, it’s a good idea/tool to request. I’ve certainly been in a place to read something partially and want to go back to it, only to lose track via timeline refresh. I suppose the argument would be that if you want to read more, either reply to it or repost/quote it, so that you have it marked.

I’m not a techy person (any hope in that direction was lost to me about 2 decades ago when I made a hard turn toward customer services), but I understood that this was just how social media worked—whenever you open the app, after a certain amount of time, the timeline refreshes and you start anew.

Amazing movie. Watched it last night with my kids. My older was very fond of the soundtrack. Guess I’m doing something right!

Q: Under what legal or budgetary authority are you making this offer? A: We don’t know! Q: Are you really going to pay me? A: Probably, but maybe there will be complications that we may have no idea exist.

Excellent movie—and great score that was completed at the last minute, iirc.

Saw it at the same theater you pictured. Excellent film! Among my many thoughts and observations about the whole thing is that the cinematography is definitely indebted to Godfrey Reggio & Ron Fricke’s powerful visual work in ‘Koyaanisqatsi’.

Dunno if you recall, but a million years ago—ok, about 20—you had a guest spot at my weekly DJ night in Portland, called Techno Sol. Was a great night!
