hey! I was just there. back home in SoCal the line for our DMV would take upwards of 4 hours. People would be wrapped around the building. *fuck* DMVs.

and then later on, after that, and just before I could really find my footing again, I found myself first finding the best route to San Francisco where maybe if I was quick about it I could probably go over the edge of the Golden Gate Bridge. because by the time I got up there no one could catch up.

which made it very real. of course, by that point I had gotten really into the trash compactor at work and suffered the nagging 4 am realizations that no one was even in the store when I was, so what was the big deal? but I had French bread in the oven and I couldn't let it burn.
