So incredibly proud to see @jdespland.bsky.social & @ckjong.bsky.social today holding the banner of @videogameworkers.bsky.social. In 2018, we were meeting for the first time to kickstart GWU MTL. In 2021, we formed Vodeo Workers United. The first certified union of videogame workers in NA.

This needs to become the default. Like working with union voice actors. If you’re hiring full time or freelance, rules should be governed that set the minimum quality of life in a collective agreement. Exciting first steps!!
