They’re so solemn - taking it as if it were a sermon on the mount w/ inspired purpose. They cannot fathom their life’s purpose - the institutions and the “science” of law was just a facade and now a cage that will force them to choose between rules and values. 2/2

I just imagine during their sentencing trial as an enemy of the state under Trump, these academics will dutifully and credulously kowtow to their judges ruling - they seem unable to understand, there is no law or process, only partisans making things up to enable illiberal ends. 1/2
