Thanks I really appreciate that! 🙂👍🏻

Hey Alex. I'm just taking a break from posting to focus on family and health at the moment.
I got really burned out by it all, it's hard work being consistently active on socials.
I'll be back one day! 😁

Hey thanks for reaching out.
I'm not currently working on the app, but I have added your suggestion to my list on notion.
I'll let you know if I decide to pick it again 🙂
Thanks for using the app!

Thanks for the shout out! I'm hoping to start working on the project again soon, but I'm taking a break at the moment 🙂

I'm pretty sure it's done by design like that as an instant drop in replacement with no new dependency to justify.

Hey Tony thanks for trying out the app.
Unfortunately this data isn't available on the public api, so I don't have access to it.
If it does become available it will one of the features I implement very quickly.
I would love it too!
Have a great day 🙂👍🏻

I looked into the network calls and your author feed is just very busy at the moment.
Its nothing in Blueskys side.
I need to be better at gradually showing the data as it loads 🙂

Hey. Thanks for the report. I'll hopefully have some time to look into this some point soon.
I wasn't able to load yours Luna, even with public data.
It seems like your profile is taking a long time from the api.

I got a bit burned out from social media over the end of 2024.
I havnt recovered yet, and am focusing on other things at the moment.
I'm sure I'll come back, but at the moment cannot summon the effort.

Oh really! I've never heard it before.
I'm shamelessly stole this from a post on LinkedIn 😅

Thanks for the heads up Andrei. It looks really interesting 👍🏻🙂

Yeah that makes sense. 🙂
I like the vibes here, it feels a lot more organic and friendly.
I don't want to help turn it into an engagement farming contest.
Can I just confirm that LI is LinkedIn?

Yeah I think that would be the simplest form of using AI, to create posts based on your previous posts.
I'm not sure people want something like that though and think it could actively hurt the platform.
comment in response to

Yeah I completely agree Lisa regarding the replies and posts.
I think it's really easy to degrade the quality of engagement using AI, but I think there could be a lot of potential to use it in other ways
I'd like to do it in a way which increases the already high quality of engagement on bluesky.

I'm not 100% sure. Maybe using AI to suggest topics to post about, based on previous posting engagement?
Or maybe re-writing / augmenting an existing draft post?
There's a lot of potential but a fine line between that and full blown AI spam.
A bit of a tricky one 🙂

Congrats! That's awesome and very inspiring! 😁

I think these things come in waves and cycles.
There will be an influx of new users at some point and hype will come up again.
It definitely seems like things are calming down though.
Personally I'm feeling fatigued by social media in general, so am taking a break.

It doesn't show the context of the entire thread, but I'll add that to my todo list 🙂.
I had thought about it, but it's a bit of a challenge to do the UI in a modal (with a nice UX), I think id need to change it to a standalone page.

check out the catch up section on blueview.app/catch-up.
It will show you all the comments you need to reply to in a single view, so you can easily reply to them 🙂

How do you mean? How would you identify a bot?
What is the date today?
How many r's in the word strawberry?
comment in response to
post
Yeah that's a great idea. 🙂
I'll add that to the list.
I wonder how we could go about detecting bot accounts. 🤔

Hello 👋🏻
Was I meant to be tagged in this post?
I'm not sure I've followed the thread correctly 🙂

I just noticed this was actually my confusion, I didn't have the context of the thread when replying to you.
Sorry about that 😅

No problem!
Thanks for checking out the app! 🙂

Hey, thanks for trying the app, the OAuth flow goes to a bluesky domain for logging in, and uses them as the authentication provider.
Blueview.app doesn't ever have access to your password.
I hope that helps and puts your mind at ease a bit 🙂

Congrats Lars! 🎉
Can I confirm that the idea of this app is to fetch / refresh the profile information over a given period?
Does it only show the profile info or is there other information?
All I can see is my profile data and then sponsored profiles underneath. Is that right?

Yeah I've only spent an hour or two.
I felt like I couldn't be bothered after a while so stopped.
I want to get back into working on personal projects but it's hard to find the motivation 🙂
