I havenāt tried orange oil. Same here- nothing toxic. Food grade DE works when things are dry but once itās wet itās useless

all credit to a random lady in a local garden group for the idea! Itās a photo storage box. Michaelās has them I think!

fire ants are the worst!!!!!
disturbing them every day until they move has been the only thing that kinda works for me but our beds are raised/in-ground combo. Our compost bin is another story lol⦠I hope can get rid of themš

Oh no! I was gifted a vintage machine that needed a motor replacement a few year ago.. I ordered from SewingMachineDepot on eBay and my partner installed it. Maybe you will be able to replace it?

Apparently I just have the pdf of the manual. I messaged it to you. Feel free to reach out! I can take pics of mine & where I oil it.

I have this one too. Still havenāt quite figured out the right tension for it. Itās all metal- built to last & be used. If itās been sitting it probably will need to be oiled every place metal touches metal & moves. I have the service manual if you need it :)

I got one of those charts a few years ago. Itās been a great resource! Wawak has a conversion of the numbers. Large spools and small spools have different numbers for the same color

My new iron! my garage sale one finally died. Itās so steamy & helps everything sit flat! Projector & Affinity Designer. Big time saver! Metal straw/chopstick for turning tubes. Sewing clips. Most useful is a bobbin box w a hinge lid my partner fixed up for me. Keeps the cats out of the thread!

I got a ticket rail for printed instructions. Same thing restaurants use for receipts. It works really well :)

I also have a Juki mo-654de. I love it. Easy enough to thread & Iāve never had issues with tension.
I used to have a Brother 1034d. Tension and sewing through thicker layers was an issue. I wish I got the Juki from the start.

Do you have a rug, bed or couch that you can store it under?
