Ugh, the first week after a new season is usually pretty difficult for me.

Well, no luck with that one. Been getting a tiny bit of traction with my Silver Surfer and Kazoo decks.
I noticed a lot of people toss in Daredevil and just retreat or use Hobgoblin on turn 5. They have a meta that's really balanced is all. Fie.

Getting my butt kicked this week, been just auto-decking without much luck. I'm going to try a gorgon/widow junk deck and just hope I hit all the Merlin decks

Maybe it's just my early exposure to "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" then, C.S.Lewis has me doing a double take everytimr a character injures their hands or crawls out of a cave.

Seems like a tricky thing to add. At the first wiff of Christianity western readers will immediately look for connecting themes. It kind of sucks the air out of the story. I wonder how it is for readers that grew up in other parts of the world that aren't so Christian dominate.

I don't know, Regan's sweeping victories seem to back up the fact that most people pay zero attention, vote with their wallets on election day and then proceed to not pay attention for another four years.
At the very least it shows we were always this stupid.

Naw, he won. People are really that dumb and vote only baised on their buying power.

Pandemic economy. I'm convinced buying power is the only metric that matters.

@annaleen.bsky.social's The Terraformers. It's truly excellent. Everything they've published has blown me away, but this novel may be their best work yet. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Right, even less forgivable, fewer people to send congratulatory form letters to. I got one from a state senator when I just got on the honor roll. I knew it was a form letter but it was nice!

That's nuts. I remember when congress people congratulated successful young people in their districts.

Yeah, this is a person dreaming of outsourcing parenthood like the worst of the one percent, which they aspire too
