Think it'll come, another day Kirk scores 2 and we end up winning by 3 or 4 as Hamilton open up earlier and we get more space.

Think Griffiths coming in allows so much to be better. Has the ability to do everything in midfield for 90 minutes.

Sounds like they got a new manager who's wants the midfielders to be runners and that doesn't seem to be his game. Seems highly thought of everywhere else he's played.

Yeah think it maybe helps us theres not just one target to focus on, as if you have that and they gain ground on you it can be disheartening.
When its just a pack of clubs then youre able to aim for a points tally.

Yeah reaching the stage of the season where momentum can decide fates.
If you have a run of form just before the split then you can gain huge amounts of ground on people in a short space of time.

This was first half and aye, maybe explains why he changed it for Wright on the left? Douglas not getting forward enough and little support ahead of him.

Wonder if that's why he seems to like Drey Wright so much? Can put him into virtually any position mid-gane and he'll perform.

It's a bit of a mess due to the change of shape in defence then a half time sub 😅 but I'll see if I can tidy it tonight.
This is what SofaScore show as average positions.

Today gives us a wee bit breathing room to slip up in away games, I think. Ideally you start plucking them from some way but it's not a death knell now.

Think Wright would be most likely to replace Franczak tbh, think Valakari really likes him so will always try and find a spot for him.
Victor Griffith signed last week and made his debut v Motherwell last weekend.

Really Nicky Clark should be that MacLean type, but just doesn't seem to work the same. Clark/Kirk should, on paper, be similar to MacLean/May 😅

Yeah would guess thats why they held an interest in Eremenko, and Jean-Paul Boetius.
A shame Kimpioka and Sidibeh have fallen away so badly though, would've been perfect slotting one of them into the team beside Kirk.

Very much a wonderkid on there.

Think he's trying to rebuild the spine.
Got his GK, got one CB and others linked, now setting up CM. Don't think he trusts Smith, Essel, Kucheriavyi or Carey to perform regularly in there, particularly if Sprangler is out. This guy seems able to play with Sprangler or replace him.

Looks better than any target I expected us to actually get, CV wise. Wonder if Valakaris personality is able to sell the "project" well to people like him?

Not sure he'll ever play for us again now, contract expires this Summer.

Kind of fits a bill as I think where Clark plays would suit him more than any position he actually played for us before, but not sure performances merit much game time so far.
Think hes one who needs to be a key player in a team to get anything from them.

Made me have to double check so here's the article 😅

Always impressed by his attitude/style when he played so far. Away to County last season he brought a whole new energy to the team when he came on and hopefully that can be repeated, even if its just off the bench.

Yeah I'm hoping it's just a case of needing to rebuild and once that's done he'll be fine. You don't need to be a great keeper in this league anyway, really, just competent at the basics is enough.
Could be as simple as the first save deciding what way it goes for him.

Contracted to 2026 so hopefully get a good few months out him then get an extension in the Summer if he does well.

From what little I saw he got put under huge pressure from Swanseas tactics, lost confidence and mistakes starting creeping in more and more.
Don't play regularly at that level being as poor as they seem to be claiming.
